Pinehurst No. 6

No.6 is an undulation track that rewards big, bold drives and requires more aggressive approach shots. In 2005, Tom Fazio returned to carve in new bunkers, soften a few angles, and speed up the greens, also adding wiregrass throughout the course to anchor it aesthetically to Pinehurst, even as it continues to carve out a reputation of its own. A favorite of Pinehurst members, No. 6 is playable for golfers of all skill levels. It plays over 7,000 yards with a mix of challenging holes and birdie opportunities for plenty of variety.
