Pinehurst No. 7 is a bold and challenging course designed by Rees Jones, set on rugged terrain with dramatic elevation changes. Known for its elevated greens, expansive bunkers, and wetlands—especially on the infamous 7th hole “Devil’s Gut”—it offers a strategic and visually striking experience. With a mountainous feel and a mix of wide fairways and tight approaches, it’s one of Pinehurst Resort’s most distinctive layouts and was the site of Tiger Woods’ 1992 junior championship win.
